The Private Thatched, Rock Pool Lodge is great for family retreats, hen or bachelor parties. It comprises a lounge and dining area with a fireplace, leading out to a beautiful outdoor garden area with a rock Koi pond and swimming pool. It has three bedrooms and bathrooms. The en suite Paddock Room, with real horses, the en-suite Koi Pond Room and The Loft Bedroom, also with its own bathroom and which doubles as a DSTV Lounge. is great for family retreats, hen or bachelor parties.

The Rock Pool Lodge’s spacious Luxury Suite is beautifully furnished and flows seamlessly out onto a wide wooden deck out to the rock swimming pool and Koi pond through huge glass and wood sliding doors. The en suite bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a large fish tank and glass ceiling through which you can gaze at the night sky whilst languishing in your double Jacuzzi spa bath.

• For Groups and families it sleeps from 8 to 10 at R 6 100,00 per night; including Bed & Breakfast for 10.

The Rock Pool Lodge Luxury Suite

The Rock Pool Lodge’s spacious Luxury Master bedroom is beautifully furnished and flows seamlessly out onto a wide wooden deck out to the rock swimming pool and Koi pond through huge glass and wood sliding doors. The Paddock Suite is a beautiful thatch double volume space with a lounge, fireplace and kitchen area. Downstairs The Koi Pond Room bedroom has a fireplace and looks out over the Koi pond feature and breathtaking views of the nature reserve, river. Upstairs there is another bedroom with a DSTV lounge.
